Terms and Conditions

Important: Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
All reservations made via any websites are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at Argo Apartments under the reservation (once the reservation is accepted and confirmed by Argo Apartments)

Definitions

In these terms and conditions:
• “Argo Apartments” mean any of the apartments within the complex.
• “We,” “our,” “us” and “Argo Apartments” mean the Argo Apartment companies.
• “You” and “your” mean the person who is making the reservation.

Photographic Identification

When you check-in, you may be asked to provide photographic identification.
If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled and you may be liable to pay us an amount equal to the full reservation amount, plus any other costs incurred by us in connection with your reservation.

Guarantee Policy

Guarantee with a valid credit card in the bookers name is required at the time of making a reservation via Argo Apartments website or third-party booking sites as well as on check-in.

Deposit Policy

No deposit is required when booking a flexible rate online, payment for flexible rates is charge 48 hours prior to arrival date unless booking is cancelled prior. Rates that contain restrictions must be paid at the time of making the reservation and in accordance with booking conditions. Please refer to individual rate terms before confirming your reservation.

Accommodation Charges

Argo Serviced Apartments, trading as CH Apartments Pty Ltd will process Accommodation Charges 48 hours prior to Check-in Date. Rates that contain restrictions must be paid at the time of making the reservation and in accordance with booking conditions. Please refer to individual rate terms before confirming your reservation.
A valid credit card in the guest booking name should be used and also MUST be presented on check-in.

If you are settling your account by credit card in Australia, please note that for Visa Card, Mastercard, a 1.2% credit card transaction will apply and for American Express, a 2% credit card transaction fee will apply. We do not accept Diners Card. You may choose to change the method of payment prior to 48 hours, please contact us directly should you wish to settle your accommodation charges by cash or EFTPOS, as these methods of payment do not attract this fee.

You agree to pay interim accounts when presented, even though you may not have departed from our apartments.
You agree that any charges for services to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of departure or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.

Upon arrival, guests must provide valid Federal or State government-issued photographic identification for security purposes, and the Guest must also provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID to secure the accommodation. A Credit Card pre-authorisation is required to cover a Security Bond upon check-in. All incidental items including (but not limited to): parking fees, breakages/damages, excessive cleaning charges above the normal level of cleaning due to the room being left in an unacceptable state, will be charged to the card used on check-in.

The pre-authorisation will affect your available fund’s balance or spending limit. For more information on this practice, we suggest the cardholder contact their issuer. Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove, or lower the authorised amount until we process the final account on departure. The restriction is placed on us by the banks and therefore, cannot be altered or changed in any way. Argo Apartments reserve the right to pre-authorise all credit cards upon arrival.
Please note, this process validates the presented credit card and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents. Cash is not an acceptable form of bond when staying with Argo Apartments, and a valid credit card will need to be presented on arrival.

Rates and Charges

You agree that you will pay us the room rate for each day of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you advise us that you have departed from our apartments.
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (unless otherwise specified) per room per night and are inclusive of GST.

Prices are subject to availability and can change without notification due to fluctuations in charges and currency.
Blackout/special event periods may apply.
The “from” rates displayed on the website are indicative prices only, are subject to availability & terms and conditions apply. Please select dates and check availability to get the most up to date pricing.

REFUNDS

Any amount paid by you to Argo Apartments for your booking (including deposits) shall be dealt with as stated in our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation 48 hours prior to your check-in date, you may cancel free of charge until 2 days prior to your booked arrival date, please ensure you make contact with Argo Apartments to avoid any cancellation fees.

Cancellations after this time or no-show are subject to Full Accommodation Payment which will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account. The cancellation fee is equal to the accommodation fee payable for your total accommodation charges based on number of nights booked. A no-show is when you do not check-in on the night of your booking reservation.

Non-Refundable rates are discounted rates and cannot be refunded, please ensure you are fully aware prior to booking.

Check-in

Standard check-in time is 2.00pm*
You agree that we may apply a charge if your required check-in time requires us to keep the room empty on the previous day.
You must advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the amount stated at the time of registration.

Check-out

Check-out time is 10.00am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time.
Departure after that time may incur additional room charges.

You must return the key and/or security card for the apartment at the time of your departure and agree to pay a charge for the replacement of keys you lose or fail to return the same.

Minors

A responsible adult must accompany persons under the age of 18.
Children under the age of 12 years using existing bedding can stay at no additional charge in the room with guardians/parents.

Facilities and Services

While care is taken to ensure that the description of our facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature or facility is essential to you, it is your responsibility to confirm with the property before making your reservation that the facility will be available during your stay.
To the extent permitted by law, Argo Apartments is not liable for omissions, errors, or changes to the facilities and services at a property, whether temporary or permanent.

Third-Party Products and Services

Argo Apartments sometimes includes third party products or services in individual packages, or hosts third-party services at the hotel, and Argo Apartments is not liable under any circumstances for any failure by third party providers to provide products or services, nor for any error, alteration or change of any kind made by those third-party providers following the acceptance of a booking by them.
Argo Apartments does not warrant the accuracy of any information, statements, or representations made by third parties and is not liable for any act or omission, default, or negligence of any third-party provider.

Releases and Indemnity

Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the room, grounds, or car park remain your responsibility, and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Argo Apartments and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation, your stay or your attendance at an event at Argo Apartments for any reason whatsoever.

You agree that regardless of your length of stay, there is no tenancy or other proprietary rights created under any laws.
We grant you a license to stay in our apartments, and we reserve the right to terminate the consent at any time.

Photography and Video

Any activity (including photography and videography) of a commercial or promotional nature is not permitted anywhere within Argo Apartments without the prior written approval of hotel management and, in the case of photography/videography, without an authorised location acknowledgment. Argo Apartments management has the right to cancel accommodation and require the immediate cessation of any activity taking place in breach of this condition. Unauthorised imagery or video must not be published on any media and must be immediately removed from the public domain upon request from hotel management

WIFI Use

By logging on and using Argo Wi-Fi, acknowledge and agree that:

• 1.1 Your use of this Wi-Fi is provided on an “as is,” “as available” basis, and to the extent permitted by law, without any warranties or representations of any kind (whether express or implied), and is at Your own risk, and sole discretion and You accept all associated risks by connecting to this Wi-Fi
• 1.2 Wi-Fi may not be uninterrupted or error-free, and that viruses, worms, hacking, Trojan horses, or other harmful applications may be available through this Wi-Fi, and We assume no responsibility or any damage caused to You as a consequence

2. Content

2.1 You warrant that You will not use this Wi-Fi in any unauthorised manner to upload or download in any format any objectionable content, where ‘objectionable content’ means, and is not limited to:

• a) any intellectual property or material that you are not lawfully entitled to via law, contractual, or fiduciary relationship.
• b) any abusive, obscene, deceptive, pornographic, adult-oriented, sexually explicit, sex education, abortion, racially offensive, ethnically inappropriate, cult, occult, derogatory, abusive, defamatory, spam, junk mail, spyware, adware, botnets, hacking, key loggers and monitoring, phishing and other frauds, illegal, criminal, weapons, unlawful, vulgar, violent, gambling, abusive drugs, peer to peer, open Http proxies, games, personals and dating, intimate apparel, proxies, harmful, malicious, misleading, harassing, or threatening, and inappropriate content in any format.

General

These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affect any rights you may have and which by law cannot be excluded, including under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and under State and Territory consumer protection legislation.

Privacy

At various times, we may collect personal information about you and/or the persons accompanying you during your stay or attendance at an event at Argo Apartments.
Argo Apartments handles all personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. A copy of the Argo Apartments Privacy Policy is available at Privacy Policy.

All reservations made through www.argoapartments.com.au, or and any third party booking sites or via phone, email or in-person are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at Argo Apartments under the reservation (once the reservation is accepted and confirmed by Argo Apartments).

Reservations may also be governed by and subject to additional terms and conditions.
